Join us for an evening of art by Xochitl Norton. Journey through a galactic world of color and imagination. Xochitl will bring us closer to the creatures from the unknown world with her works to art.

 

 

WORKSHOP: YOUTH POETRY

MONTHLY ON SATURDAY / DATES POSTED SOON

Young poets are invited to participate in a youth poetry workshop each month at Catalyst. Meet and work with professional poets and spoken word artists, practice overcoming the stage jitters, meet other young poets just like you, and hone your art during this 2-hour workshop presented by Poetic Empowerment. It’s free.

 

 

DANCE: TAP DANCE CLASSES

EVERY MONDAY AT 6 PM

Put on your tap shoes and dance! Kim Dobbs leads this high-energy, adult beginner class. No tap shoes? No problem! We’ll start soft-shoe and see where you go!  $15/person or $10 if you bring a friend!

 

 

UNDERTAKERS LAB

2/28/17 and every fourth Tuesday, 3:00 - 6:00 P.M.

Bring your laptop and hang out at  ] C A T A L Y S T [  with fellow artists and designers as we undertake new digital design challenges and "crowd source" our solutions. We'll share techniques and tricks in this informal, whatever-your-skill-level workshop. FREE.

 

 

PAINT PARTY

Third Thursday each month, 5:30 to 8 P.M.

Get creative during this evening art workshop. A local arts instructor will guide participants in creating his or her very own masterpiece. $20/person includes all supplies and one canvas board. Ages 18 and older. Prior experience not necessary. RSVP 1 week in advance: 256-689-5479.
